Terms of Service
Last updated: May 20, 2026.
These Terms of Service govern use of the VoiceBar website, account area, subscriptions, and application.
VoiceBar is operated by Hanan Ganon Productions. At launch, the business operates as an exempt dealer / exempt business. A business registration number, full address, or additional registration details will be shown only in documents or contexts where required by law, payment processing, or accounting requirements. Public support address: support@calotec.app.
Acceptance of Terms
Using VoiceBar means you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Fair Use Policy, and any purchase terms shown before payment.
If you do not agree to the Terms, do not use the service.
Service Description
VoiceBar is a Windows application that lets users record speech, process audio for transcription, receive text, and paste the result where the user is working.
The service includes or may include:
- Desktop application.
- Marketing and account website.
- User sign-in, including Google Sign-In.
- Subscription and payment management.
- Device management.
- Access to transcription-processing services.
- Software updates.
License to Use
Subject to compliance with these Terms and payment of any required fees, we grant the user a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to use VoiceBar for ordinary personal or internal business purposes.
User Account
Users are responsible for keeping their accounts secure. Users must be at least 16 years old to create a VoiceBar account.
Users must not:
- Share an account with others.
- Give away sign-in credentials.
- Bypass device, subscription, or usage limits.
- Create multiple accounts to bypass limits.
- Use the service on behalf of another person without authorization.
Devices
The regular plan is intended for one user and up to two active computers unless a specific plan states otherwise.
When device management is available, the user can disconnect a computer no longer in use and approve another computer. Persistent activity from more computers or users than permitted may be treated as account sharing or bypassing limits.
Subscriptions, Prices, and Monthly Usage
VoiceBar offers three monthly plans:
- Regular: $9/month.
- Pro: $12/month.
- Super User: $18/month.
Each paid plan includes a tiered monthly usage allowance under the Fair Use Policy. VoiceBar may also provide limited registered access before a paid subscription. This registered access is not a monthly paid plan, does not renew, and may stop when its allowance has been used. Users can choose a paid plan to continue.
Prices are shown as final customer-facing prices. At launch, VoiceBar is operated by an exempt business, so VAT is not shown as a separate line item. If the business status changes in the future, pricing or billing settings may be adjusted accordingly.
The app and account area may show users:
- Plan name.
- Percent used of the allowance.
- Reset date where applicable.
- Warning or limit state.
- Upgrade option when a higher plan is available.
VoiceBar does not show users internal operating details. Those details remain internal and are used to operate the service, prevent abnormal usage, and maintain stability.
When usage reaches about 70%, VoiceBar may show a usage warning. When usage reaches about 90%, VoiceBar may show a stronger warning that the allowance is almost exhausted. When usage reaches 100%, additional transcription may be blocked until the reset date when the current plan has one, or until upgrade when no reset applies. The user may see an option to upgrade to a higher plan.
VoiceBar does not operate a credits system at launch. There are no one-time credit purchases, no stored credit balance, and no post-subscription access through previously purchased credits.
Payments, Renewals, Cancellations, and Refunds
Some services require payment. Before purchase, the website or account area will show or link to business details, price, payment terms, subscription terms, cancellation and refund terms, Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and Fair Use Policy.
Payments, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled through an external payment provider. Failure to pay, subscription cancellation, or payment failure may result in limited access to the service.
Subscriptions renew automatically each month unless the user cancels renewal before the next billing date. If the user cancels renewal normally and does not receive a refund, access to the paid plan remains active until the end of the already-paid billing period. After that period ends, the subscription does not renew. Any remaining registered access, if available for the account, may apply; otherwise transcription access is blocked until the user renews or purchases a new subscription.
Refund requests may be submitted within 48 hours of the original purchase or subscription renewal. If a refund is approved, it is calculated proportionally: the monthly subscription price minus the value of the first 48 hours of access. If a refund is approved, paid access ends immediately. A refund does not allow continued use for the full paid month.
An upgrade may include a plan change for the next cycle and a separate prorated payment for immediate activation, if available. A downgrade may take effect at the next billing cycle while preserving the already-paid entitlement through the end of the period.
This policy is subject to any mandatory cancellation or refund rights under applicable law. Billing, tax, receipt, and invoice documents will be issued according to applicable legal requirements and the business details current at the time of payment.
Permitted Use
Users may use VoiceBar for normal personal or internal business purposes, subject to applicable law and these Terms.
Users are responsible for ensuring they have the legal right to record, process, transcribe, or submit any content they use.
Prohibited Use
Users must not use VoiceBar to:
- Violate the law.
- Record or transcribe content without required permission.
- Violate the privacy of others.
- Bypass subscription, device, or usage limits.
- Resell or rent account access.
- Perform automated, bulk, or abnormal usage that does not reflect ordinary human use.
- Overload the system or service providers.
- Attempt to extract keys, secrets, code, or security mechanisms.
- Reverse engineer the software except where permitted by law.
Audio, Transcription, and Accuracy
VoiceBar is an assistant tool. Transcription may include errors.
Audio is processed to return a transcription result. Users are responsible for reviewing all text before sending, publishing, signing, using in legal, medical, financial, or other important contexts.
VoiceBar does not guarantee perfect accuracy, uninterrupted availability, or fitness for every purpose.
User Content
Users remain responsible for content they speak, submit, transcribe, store, copy, or publish.
Users retain ownership of the content they submit and the transcription text VoiceBar returns to them. We claim no ownership rights in user content or transcripts. The user grants us a limited license to process audio solely to provide transcription, security, abuse prevention, and service operation.
Local Information on the User's Computer
VoiceBar may store transcript history, preferences, local usage data, and correction learning on the user's computer. These features are intended to benefit the user, such as recovering text, improving paste quality, and improving corrections.
In some cases, the app may read the text in the target field to verify that paste succeeded or to learn local corrections. This reading is used to improve paste and correction behavior, not to send target-field content to our servers.
Third Parties
VoiceBar relies on external service providers for infrastructure, payment, authentication, transcription processing, and additional technical services. Use of the service is also subject to the limitations and availability of those providers.
Software Updates
VoiceBar may offer or require software updates for security, stability, compatibility, or new features. Older versions may stop receiving support.
Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the service in case of Terms violations, abuse, security risk, non-payment, legal requirement, or harm to the service.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, VoiceBar is provided as is and without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
To the extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect damages, lost profits, lost data, transcription errors, downtime, unauthorized use, or reliance on unreviewed output.
Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, the user agrees to indemnify and defend Hanan Ganon Productions from any claim, damage, loss, or expense arising from the user's use of the service, content processed through the service, violation of these Terms, violation of law, or infringement of a third-party right.
Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms. If we make a material change, we will provide notice on the website, in the app, or by email before the change takes effect where required by law.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise. Jurisdiction will be with the competent courts in Israel, subject to any mandatory rule under applicable law.
