Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions about VoiceBar.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does VoiceBar do?

VoiceBar lets you speak instead of type. It returns text and pastes it directly where you are already working.

Where does the text appear?

The text lands in the active field: chat, document, browser, email, or anywhere you can type.

Do I need to open a special editor?

No. VoiceBar is designed to work on top of your current workflow without moving you into a separate writing window.

Does VoiceBar support Hebrew?

Yes. VoiceBar is designed for Hebrew and additional languages. Result quality may vary depending on microphone quality, background noise, speaking speed, and specialized terminology.

Does VoiceBar work offline?

Transcription requires a connected account and an active usage entitlement. Some operations may require an active internet connection.

Does VoiceBar store audio or transcripts on its servers?

Not as part of normal service operation. Audio is processed to generate the transcription, but VoiceBar does not store audio content or transcript content on its servers. The server does keep non-content technical usage data, such as request duration, request time, account ID, device ID, and success or error status.

What is stored locally on the computer?

Transcript history and correction learning are local features designed to help the user recover text, improve paste quality, and improve corrections. When active, this data is stored on the user's computer. The user should be able to understand, manage, and clear this information from the app or operating system depending on available features.

Does VoiceBar read the target field where text is pasted?

In some cases, the app may read the text in the target field to verify that paste succeeded or to learn local corrections. This is used to improve paste and correction quality, not to send target-field content to our servers.

How do usage limits work?

Paid plans have a monthly usage allowance. VoiceBar shows allowance usage as a percentage and shows the reset date where applicable. It does not show users internal operating details. Around 70%, a warning may appear; around 90%, a stronger warning may appear; at 100%, additional transcription may be blocked until reset when the current plan has one, or until the user upgrades when no reset applies.

Is there a free plan?

VoiceBar may provide limited registered access before a paid subscription. It is not a monthly paid plan and does not renew. Usage is shown as a percentage, and when the allowance is used, you can choose a paid plan to continue.

Is there a device limit?

Yes. The regular plan is intended for one user and up to two active computers unless a specific plan states otherwise. If you reach the limit, you can disconnect a computer you no longer use through the app or account area when available.

Does it completely replace typing?

Not always. VoiceBar reduces typing and speeds up drafting, but you should still read and edit the text when needed.

Who is it for?

People who write a lot: messages, emails, ideas, summaries, replies, internal documentation, and repeated writing tasks.
